So this last week, in honor of our new couch/DVD combo, I’ve watched A Beautiful Mind, The Social Network, and then read (on said couch) Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother.
I really need to quit watching and reading this kind of material. It’s a painful reminder of how dumb (lazy) I really am.
That’s all. I’m too dumb/lazy to write any more.
I loved Social Network and it also made me feel dumb and lazy. Not only am I not like that guy (too lazy to remember his name) I’m not even like the people around him who tried to sponge off his success. Oh well.
No comparing! It’s not allowed. How many times have I looked over the fence at my neighbor and envied the talents he or she has? This exercise always, always, without fail, dims the light of my own talents. I have to believe that what I have to offer is a great deal and will amount to much during the final weigh-in. You are a spiritual gal. You do the very best with what you’re given and the Lord gives you more. Keep going strong and carry on! And go eat some chocolate! 😀 xoxo
